ABOUT US
Greater Muhlenberg Parks & Recreation System was established in 2011. GMPRS is funded by a public /private partnership grant established through the Felix E. Marin Jr. Foundation, with support from Muhlenberg Board of Education and Muhlenberg County Fiscal Court.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is twofold – to provide and maintain state-of-the-art facilities and programming for the residents of Muhlenberg County, and to help with countywide economic development by hosting large sports tourism events.

The GMPRS Board of Directors meet at noon every third Tuesday of the month at the Sue & Brown Badgett Center, unless otherwise posted. The public is welcome to attend. The following is a list of current directors and the districts, cities or organizations they represent.
